Overview

Bir Billing is popular for paragliding. Bir Billing the paragliding capital of India, It is India's highest paragliding spot and world's 2nd highest paragliding spot. Bir and Billing are the best places to try paragliding in India, as the foothills of the Himalayan range offer a lovely setting of mountains covered in forest, bir is also home to a Tibetan refugee settlement with several Buddhist monasteries and a large stupa.
The paragliding launch site is in the meadow at Billing (14 km north of Bir), at an elevation of 2400 metres, while the landing site and most tourist accommodations are in the village of Chowgan (also spelled Chaugan), on the southern edge of Bir.

Day 1 - Delhi to Bir Overnight Journey

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to Bir at evening. Overnight bus journey to Bir, everyone meets at "ISBT Kashmiri Gate Bus Terminal” bus stop. Depart for Bir by Bus/traveler. Overnight journey Delhi to Bir. .

Day 2 - Bir Billing sightseeing

Reach Bir by the morning. Check-in at the Bir Hotel/camp-site. After breakfast & little rest you will go for local Bir Sightseeing(chockling monastery, stupa & local market exploration) Later in the evening, spend some time exploring the local delicacies in famous cafes of Bir. Savour delightful dinner and overnight stay in a hotel/Camp.

Day 3 - Bir Billing Paragliding

Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, transfer to Billing for the adventurous Paragliding session, paragliding session would be 25-30 mins long, enjoy the mesmerizing views of Dhauladhar ranges and the slopes of Kangra valley while soaring through the clear skies of Bir Billing with the cool breezes brushing against your face. Chill at the various cafes in Bir or go for mountain biking (own your own). In the evening, board an overnight Volvo back to Delhi.
