Air :The nearest domestic airport is in Pathankot Punjab which is just 75 kilometres away from Dalhousie but is connected to New Delhi only. The second nearest airport is Gaggal airport which is in the Kangra district and is approximately 140 kilometres away from the town.

Train :Dalhousie nearest railway stations are Chakki Bank Railway Station and Pathankot Railway Station. Chakki Bank Railway Station and Pathankot Railway Station are well connected to diverse cities and towns of Himachal Pradesh by taxis and buses, which is associated with regular train services from Delhi, Calcutta, Bombay, Madras, and Bangalore. The bus services are available from Pathankot Railway Station to Dalhousie. The distance from the station is about 80 km and it will take nearly 3 hours to reach the city.
