Kasol :
The Itinerary for the Kasol Kheerganga trek starts with a drive from Delhi to Kasol by bus or personal transport service. Then, the trek starts at Kasol, a small village in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district.
This spot is a very popular tourist location, best for budget travel. You’ll get to enjoy one night of camping while staying at Kasol. The next day, the morning trek starts for Kasol to Kheerganga trek. The view of the sunset and trekking through Kheerganga forests are an incredible experience. Barshaini is the last motorable point. While trekking from Barshaini, you will come across several sightseeing options like Rudra-Nag, the serpent-shaped waterfall, the rock formation of Pandu Pul and the Pin-Parvati Pass (5400 m). Besides this, you can enjoy nature walking, leisurely walks in the forest, mountain climbing and indulge in landscape photography during your stay at Kheerganga. The history of Kheerganga dates back thousands of years and is considered the abode of Lord Shiva.
Kheerganga Trek : Kheerganga trek is one of the most well-known and beautiful destinations for trekking and adventure. Popular for the hot springs and scenic views of the Himalayan Mountains, Kheerganga is situated in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Kheerganga is located about 21 km away from the pilgrimage town of Manikaran Gurudwara sahib, at a height of 2950m. Deep in the Parvati Valley, it’s considered nature’s paradise as it's beautiful.
Group Start : Delhi to Kasol Overnight Journey by bus.
Day - 1st Kasol Sightseeing
Day - 2nd Kasol - Barshaini - Kheerganga Trek
Day - 3rd Kheerganga - Barshaini - Kasol - Overnight Journey by bus
Day - 4th Delhi
The group will be assemble at the Majnu Ka Tila Travels Moon Office at 05:30 PM.
Afterward, a short introdection* with the group Member's and group leader. We'll start for a overnight journey towards Kasol around 06:00 PM by our Luxury Bus.
For Dinner : We'll take a mid-way stoppage at Murthal.
The pickup point : For the Group members is Majnu Ka Tila. Nearest metro station is Vidhansaba Metro Station
Bus Facilities : AC Semi Sleeper, LCD T.V, Charging Plug, Push Back seats, Mineral Water bottle
We'll reach Kasol between 9:00 to 10:00AM.( Approximate time )
Post-check-in to our campsite/hotels.
We'll have lunch in the afternoon after everyone has freshend up.
We'll relax for the rest of the afternoon and the group will be free for leisure activities / Choj Hike. In the evening get back to our campsite/hotels for dinner overnight stay in Kasol.
After an overnight stay at the campsite/hotels at Kasol, next day morning early breakfast followed by a Trek Briefing Session from the trek leader.
We start our trek to Kheerganga from Barshaini. The trek from Barshaini to Kheerganga is about 12 kilometres, Barshaini which is the starting point for the trek. This trek is one of the most beautiful treks you through cascading waterfalls, gushing rivers, narrow pathways, and apple orchards. Packed lunch in between the trek route once reaching the top.
We'll check into our campsite. Afterward go for a hotspring bath as it's quite relaxing, assemble back into our camps for dinner a bonfire is set up around which you can relax, sing, dance, and enjoy a tasty dinner. Later, spend the night under the starry sky. Stay overnight in camps at Kheerganga top.
Wake up early in the morning and enjoy the sunrise have an early breakfast and start to trek back to Barshaini from Kheerganga if the time and weather is allow we hike up to some of the nearby waterfalls and hills. It takes around 4 to 5 hours to reach Kasol. Our vehicle / Bus will pick you from Kasol and we will start our return journey to Delhi.
Reach Delhi early morning by 7 to 8 AM. The group will disassemble here.

How To Reach Kasol
- Air : The closest airport to Kasol is the Bhuntar airport at a distance of approximately 32 km. There are regular flights from Delhi and Chandigarh to Bhuntar so you can reach from any of those two cities. If you are planning a Delhi to Kasol trip and don’t want to waste time on the road, then taking a flight is a good option.
- Road : Distance between Delhi to Kasol is 560kms and its take 11 to 12hrs to reach Kasol from delhi once you reach Kasol, you can travel by intercity or interstate bus services from HRTC known as Himachal road transport corporation. As and when private travel agents operating the service are available, it will be displayed on this page.
- From Bhuntar, you will get a bus to Kasol for 80 – 100 INR which will take around 2.5-3 hours to reach. You will also find private taxis here for 700 – 1000 INR which will take around 1.5- 2 hours to reach Kasol.
